These terms apply when you use the HandyNexus website and app. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use HandyNexus.

What HandyNexus does

HandyNexus is a marketplace. We help clients find independent artisans, hold payments and support both sides if something goes wrong. Artisans are not employees of HandyNexus and are responsible for the quality of their work.

Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate information.
  • Artisans must pass identity verification before they can quote on jobs.
  • You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login secure.

Quotes, payments and fees

  • Posting a job and receiving quotes is free for clients.
  • When you hire, you pay the agreed price into HandyNexus through our payment partner.
  • Payment is released to the artisan when you confirm the job, or automatically 72 hours after the artisan marks it complete if you have not opened a dispute.
  • Artisans pay a service fee on completed jobs, shown before they send a quote.
  • Payments for jobs arranged through HandyNexus must stay in the app to remain protected.

Cancellations and disputes

Either side can cancel before work begins. If there is a problem with a job, open a dispute before confirming. We review the chat, photos and job details and may refund the client, release payment to the artisan, or agree a partial outcome. Our decision on held funds is final for that job.

Conduct

Be respectful and honest. Harassment, fraud, fake reviews and asking for payment outside the app can lead to suspension or removal.

Liability

We work hard to verify artisans and protect payments, but we do not guarantee any particular result. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the fees HandyNexus earned from the job in question.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
